Biography

B.A., Tufts; M.A., Ph.D., Stanford

Professor McClure is the author of Late Imperial Romance (Verso, 1994) and Kipling and Conrad: The Colonial Fiction (Harvard University Press, 1982), and essays on colonial and postcolonial discourse and geopolitics. His latest book, Partial Faiths Postsecular Fiction in the Age of Pynchon and Morrison, will be published in December 2007 by the University of Georgia Press.
