The Graduate Program is very active in assisting students to obtain positions in higher education by means of a vigorous placement program. Students who will be seeking jobs the following year are invited to attend a meeting with the Chair of the Placement Committee during the spring term. At this meeting, the placement program is explained and preliminary advice on the application process is given to students. In the fall, students are advised on the writing of application letters and the preparation of dossiers and are invited to participate in mock interviews with faculty committees. Students who participate in the placement program should keep the Placement Chair and Graduate Office informed of all significant developments.
