Conference Travel Support

The Graduate School— New Brunswick has a small amount of money to assist students giving papers at conferences. Grants are limited in amount and numbers. There are three deadlines during the year, late October, late February, and late May.

Applications are available in the Graduate Office, Murray Hall – Room 119 or download the application. If you have had a paper accepted for a conference that will take place in the next few months (or took place recently) you may apply for support. Please submit the application to Cheryl Robinson with appropriate documentation (letter of invitation, copy of program showing your name, etc.) by the dealine listed on the application.  If you need to explain anything about the status of the conference or your part in it, please do so in an accompanying letter to me.

Applications are evaluated in terms of the student’s record, the significance of the paper, and the importance of the conference. Preference is given to students who are principal authors of papers at national conferences.
