Professor Cheryl Wall is scheduled to deliver this year's Marion Thompson Wright Lecture, at the Paul Robeson Center at Rutgers-Newark, on Feb. 18. Scholars and interested public will gather to explore black influence on American culture.

Professor Wall borrows a musical term as the title of her work exploring the voices and literary techniques of black women writers in “Worrying the Line: Black Women Writers, Lineage and Literary Tradition.” ...
