The English Department is proud to announce the launch of a new series in the spring semester of 2007. The Writers from Rutgers Reading Series seeks to feature the work of creative writers who are affiliated with our department and our university. This new series aims to showcase to our own students, the university community, and the general public, the English Department's long-standing and unwavering commitment to the creative arts.

This year's series feature readings by Purvi Shah, a graduate of our doctoral program, and by Lara Tupper, one of our creative-writing instructors.

The Writers from Rutgers Reading Series is co-sponsored by the Rutgers University Libraries and the Friends of Rutgers English.
