Information Technology
Services (ITS) operates the English Department
network, which provides Internet connectivity
to the entire department. We also manage
the student, faculty, and staff computer
accounts that enable access to the Internet
and departmental computing resources.
Logging
In to the Network
Your key to getting access
to the English network is your Novell Account.
Your Novell Account entitles you to full
access to network resources, such as private
and shared drives, network printing and
critical data backup.
Connecting Your
Computer to the Internet
Every office computer
is setup for Network and Internet connectivity.
If you desire to have a laptop setup for
connectivity, please contact the Tech Support
Office.
How to Access
Your Email
Every user should have
an RCI or Eden email account. There are
a variety of tools you can use to access
your email. You can use Webmail to access
your email. Webmail is most useful if you
want to quickly check your email from any
Internet connection – anywhere in
the world.
If you want advanced email
features and performance, we can install
any number of worthy email clients on your
office or home computer, such as MS Outlook,
Mozilla Firefox and Netscape Messenger.
Please access the link below for detailed
instructions on setting up an email client
