Tina Chang is the author of Half-Lit Houses (2004), which was a finalist for the 2005 Asian American Literary Award. Her poems have appeared in many anthologies and publications, such as American Poet, Indiana Review, The Missouri Review, Ploughshares, Quarterly West, and Sonora Review. She has received awards from the Academy of American Poets, the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund, the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, the New York Foundation for the Arts, Poets & Writers, and the Van Lier Foundation, and has held writing fellowships from Constance Saltonstall Foundation, Djerassi, Fundacion Valparaiso, The MacDowell Colony, the Vermont Studio Center, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and Villa Montalvo. She currently teaches at Sarah Lawrence College and Hunter College.

Brenda Shaughnessy is the author of Human Dark with Sugar (2008) and Interior with Sudden Joy (1999). The former won the James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets, and the latter was nominated for the PEN/Joyce Osterweil Award for Poetry, a Lambda Literary Award, and the Norma Farber First Book Award. Her poems have appeared in many venues, including Best American Poetry, Bomb, Boston Review, Conjunctions, McSweeney’s, The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and The Yale Review. She is the recipient of a Bunting fellowship at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University and a Japan/U.S. Friendship Commission Artist Fellowship. She is the poetry editor at Tin House magazine and currently teaches creative writing at Princeton University and Eugene Lang College at the New School.

Tracy K. Smith has received many awards and accolades for her poetry, including a Wallace Stegner fellowship in poetry, a 2004 Rona Jaffe Writers' Award, a fellowship from the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, a grant from the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, and a 2005 Whiting Writers' Award. Her poems have appeared in various journals, including Boulevard, Callaloo, Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art, Gulf Coast, the Nebraska Review, Post Road, and West Branch, and in anthologies such as Poetry 30, Poetry Daily, and Autumn House. Her book, The Body's Question (2003), was awarded the 2002 Cave Canem Poetry Prize. She currently teaches creative writing at Princeton University.
