Dissertation Writing Workshop

This workshop is open to all advanced graduate students currently working on a dissertation. Participants will receive feedback on their writing, discuss strategies for organizing and developing their dissertation, and help one another reflect on (and cope with) the writing process. At various points in the semester, each student will submit portions of their work for the group to read and discuss. Students will also be asked to share models of the kind of scholarship they aim to write. Although secondary readings on the genre of the dissertation will be made available to the group, our primary text will be the writing of the students themselves.
