The Graduate Writing Program is proud to present a lecture by Professor Eric Hayot entitled "Why Writing Is Hard, and What to Do About It."

Dr. Hayot is Distinguished Professor of Comparative Literature and Asian Studies at Penn State University. He is the author of the groundbreaking writing guide The Elements of Academic Style as well as many important works of literary scholarship. Faculty members, graduate stuents, and undergraduates of all disciplines are welcome to attend this talk, which will be followed by a reception.
