Join us for an in-depth discussion with one of the film industry's most well-respected and active creators and producers. Stillwell has led innovative projects in a variety of different media that bring together diverse cultures and make a real difference in the world. Students can expect to get real-world advice and ideas from a leader in the field. 

Marquise Stillwell created Openbox, a company that represents a culmination of 20+ years of experience. He brings his passion for supporting diverse cultures and bringing positive change through many additional philanthropic and creative activities, from teaching at CIID and Kaospilot in Denmark, to creating films with Openbox director Petter Ringbom; co-founding Deem a publication focused on design and social practice; and co-founding Urban Ocean Lab with Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Jean Flemma, a think tank that develops policy solutions for coastal cities. Marquise also serves as a board member for Stae, Pioneer Works, The Lowline, and the Center for Architecture, and plays an advisory role for Creative Capital and Riverkeeper. He is a member of the High Line Advisory Committee and a fellow at Urban Design Forum.
