The Writers at Rutgers Reading Series fosters an exchange between well-known writers of diverse backgrounds and the Rutgers students and faculty. Since 1990 Writers at Rutgers has sponsored readings by distinguished writers such as Adrienne Rich, Miguel Algarin, Temple Grandin, Derek Walcott, Junot Diaz, Oliver Sacks, Caryl Phillips, Rebecca Solnit, Tina Chang, Brenda Shaughnessy, Tracy K.
