Professor McClure is the author of Late Imperial Romance (1994) and Kipling and Conrad: The Colonial Fiction (1982), as well as essays on colonial and postcolonial discourse and geopolitics. His latest book is Partial Faiths: Postsecular Fiction in the Age of Pynchon and Morrison (2007).
