I use biblical book history and Reformation hermeneutics to study the relationship between Early Modern religion and the theater. I am particularly interested in the mechanics of biblical referencing in Early Modern literature, and using paratextual systems of marginalia and commentary to help reconstruct Reformation practices of biblical reading and translation.
