Mark your caleConversation 3 MinaS April14ndars for a conversation with Mina Seçkin, the author of The Four Humors, a bold, inventive debut novel that explores grief, Turkish identity, and ancient medicine. Hosted by Assistant Professor Adam Dalva, the two colleagues will discuss their editorial work on magazines and demystify aspects of the publishing industry. Mina will also be signing books. She's an excellent, engaging speaker so it should be a lively time.

 Mina Seçkin completed her MFA at Columbia University, where she received the Felipe De Alba Fellowship and where she also received her bachelor degree. Her work has been published inRefinery 29McSweeney’s Quarterly ConcernElectric Literature, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. She serves as managing editor of Apogee Journal, and her debut novel, The Four Humors, was published by Catapult in 2021.

Adam Dalva’s writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The Atlantic, and The New York Review of Books. Adam serves on the board of the National Book Critics Circle and is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Creative Writing at Rutgers University. He is a Contributing Fiction Editor of The Yale Review.
