Robin Elizabeth Haas (she/they) is a third-year PhD student specializing in Restoration and 18th-century British literature. They are particularly interested in questions of identity and performance on the Restoration stage and at the 18th-century masquerade. Their recent work draws connections between the playhouse and the masquerade as spaces of identity play and ontological anxiety, particularly for women. Robin earned their Bachelor's in English from the College of Charleston Honors College in 2018.
