Lena Crown is a creative writer, literary scholar, editor and educator from Northern California. Her work is published or forthcoming in Guernica, Joyland, The Rumpus, Gulf Coast, Narratively, North American Review, Passages North, and elsewhere, and she has received fellowships from the Ragdale Foundation, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and the Peter Bullough Foundation. She recently served as the PEN/Faulkner Writer in Residence and the Olive B. O'Connor Fellow in Nonfiction at Colgate University, and she now produces and hosts Awakeners, a Lit Hub Radio podcast about mentorship in the literary arts.
