- Biography:
Anandi Kar is a poet and literary scholar from West Bengal, India. Her research interests include include environmental humanities, postcolonial theory, memory and affect studies. Her debut poetry collection, God Comes with a Hairdryer was published by Hawakal, New Delhi in 2025. She has reviewed works in translation for Antonym Magazine and translated Sunil Ganguly's poem "Smritir Sohor 15" for Indigenous. Her poems have been published in Scarlet Leaf Review, Poems India, Indian Literature (journal of Sahitya Akademi), Indian Review, The Chakkar, Ghudsavar Literary magazine, Muse India, and Academy of the Heart and Mind. Her academic essays have been published in Indian Literature, TUI: A Journal on Tribal Life and Culture, Littcrit and Journal of Victorian Culture (JUVC Online Blog).
